It’s that time of the year again! Happy Thanksgiving!
Enjoy spending time with your loved ones while gorging on delicious food.
My family usually does hot pot with a split pot. One soup is spicy and one non-spicy because some of us can’t handle spicy foods.
Looks kind of like this.

Unfortunately, we don’t make the soup stock from stock. Instead we purchase pre-packaged soup stock from our favorite asian markets.
Like Lion’s market, 99 Ranch market or Marina.
In their dried foods section, they carry pre-packaged soup powder packets from well known hot pot brands.
I like the ones from Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot (which is a chain I think?). There are other ones though because Hot Pot is very popular.
Especially when the weather gets cold.
So no turkey for me but I’m okay with that. Afterwards I’m probably going to catch up on some additional Chinese Dramas that just came out like Royal Nirvana.
And then check out some deals for Black Friday shopping! But it seems like each year the deals are dwindling.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Do you do the traditional Turkey, side dishes and mash potatoes?
Or something different?
