OH MY GOD! They are making a live action version of The King’s Avatar!
Fan-girl scream moment.
For those of you not familiar with the title, this was made into a VERY popular animation from the Chinese Web Novel.
With GREAT animation I might add.
Probably one of the best I’ve seen ever.
Especially considering the flops with making Tales of Demons and Gods into an animation. (Just thinking about it makes me cringe.)
I sincerely hope that whomever helped produced The King’s Avatar animation will consider re-producing Tales of Demons and Gods.
Such a shame really. It was also a very popular web novel and comic.
Anyways, so yes.
The King’s Avatar is getting a live action remake with the male character being portrayed by Yang Yang.
Who’s been really popular as of late.
He’s been in multiple Chinese Dramas already and I have high hopes of his acting for this one.
Synopsis of King’s Avatar
Ye Xiu is professional player in a very popular multi-player online game called Glory. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, he was kicked out of the professional gaming company he worked for.
And it seemed like everything was over.
Or was it?
Ye Xiu saw it as an opportunity to start over again.
Follow along as he rises to the top again with his knowledge and skills.
It’s expected to come around late July 2019 which is coming up very soon!
And going to consist of 40 episodes (which isn’t too long for a Chinese Drama).
If you know what I mean. (cough… Nirvana in Fire… Story of Ming Lan)
So it’s definitely something to look forward to as the end of July rolls around.
I can’t wait to see it and I hope it meets the expectations of everyone who loved the animation.
