Woohoo! Another CDrama starring a strong female lead! Check out The Song of Glory!
If you’ve already read some of the recaps I host on this blog, you may be aware that I love strong independent female leads!
Like The Story of Minglan, The Romance of Tiger and Rose (just to name a few).
So apparently, the actress that plays the female lead in this CDrama portrayed her fight scenes VERY well.
Li Qin plays Li Ge and the female lead can fight in this show!
Check out the below synopsis.

Synopsis
Set in the Liu Song Dynasty (420-479).
With powerful aristocrats clamoring for power, the people of the Liu Song Empire have succumbed to the ensuing chaos.
Desperate to bring peace to his crumbling nation, the young emperor, Liu Yi Kang, son of Emperor Wu of Liu Song, the founder of the Liu Song Dynasty, is willing to do whatever it takes to save his people.
But the road before him will not be easy.
With most of the country’s powerful families plotting against him, Yi Kang’s list of allies is growing dangerously thin.
Yi Kang agrees to an alliance through marriage with the powerful Shen family. To strengthen his position.
A family with deep military roots, the Shen family can provide the strength Yi Kang needs to enact the reform necessary to oust the aristocrats bent on destroying the nation.
With the family’s brilliant and beautiful, Shen Li Ge by his side, the two begin the arduous task of reformation.
Facing off against one of the nation’s most powerful and corrupt clans, Yi Kang and Li Ge must use every ounce of their wits and strength to defeat their foes.
But peace doesn’t come without a price and the cost of this battle is tremendous.
In the midst of so much heartache and despair, can this noble couple find a way to heal the wounds of a broken nation and at the same time, mend the wounds of their own broken hearts?

53 Episodes! I hope the harem parts don’t drag on too much. I’m guessing there is a harem because there’s a king/emperor involved.
And we get to see Qin Hao again! Some people on the internet have been commenting how he looks too old in this role.
Come one really? I don’t think he looks THAT bad. But I’m excited to see him act again because I finished The Bad Kids.
And man he was good in that one.
The show had darker undertones as it deals with human nature but he did very well. I liked how he portrayed the villain but gave the viewers a three dimensional character.
So I’m interested to see how he will play the young emperor here. Because I’m sure this character will have his own struggles. With maintaining/fixing a broken nation.
I may watch a few episodes before deciding if I want to recap it.

Qin Hao’s isn’t really a big deal as he portray the role of Lui Yui Kang. He and Le Qin looks so good and lovely together. I wish they will collaborate again someday soon.
Talking about the drama. This is spectacularly worth waatching. The entire cast did a great job. The chemistry of the leads are superb. I just love it!
Thanks for the comment! I have to agree that the costumes were gorgeous and AMAAAZING XD
I may continue to watch just for the costumes and the chemistry between the two leads
Oh yeah. I’m really hooked to this, and I found myself end up watching no Eng subs. Lol
Qin Hao’s age I mean…not a abig deal.😁
Oh hahaha now that makes sense XD, yeah not sure why so many netizens are complaining about his age
